RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coach a team of Account executives to drive advertising revenue through direct sales (prospecting, closing new business and managing renewals)
  • Meet and exceed a quarterly sales quota by engaging team in needed level of activity to sell standard media, video, mobile, programmatic and custom advertising solutions
  • Position Gamut to key agency media directors/media supervisors and internet marketing directors/managers
  • Build strategic agency and client side relationships to secure revenue growth and build credibility in the marketplace
  • Identify, understand and communicate trends within client markets and industries, and the ability to listen well to client needs and develop advertising programs that exceed their expectations
  • Think creatively, sell strategically, multitask and communicate efficiently both internally and externally
  • Work with our internal training and marketing teams to develop and implement ongoing sales and product trainings, insuring your sales team is knowledgeable and prepared
  • Ability to manage team sales pipeline, utilize salesforce.com and project sales on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Understand and communicate clearly to your team the company needs as related to target revenues, profitability, operational efficiencies while advocating for client results
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA degree required, MBA preferred
  • 6-8 years of digital sales experience, with minimum of 10-12 years total sales work experience.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the Boston, Philadelphia, New England market with a robust network of client & agency relationships (Media Planners / Supervisors/ Marketing Directors)
  • An avid problem solver, must approach sales in a strategic/ solution sales manner with above average organizational skills
  • Track record of building sales teams and coaching sellers to meet and exceed revenue targets, continual business development, profitable sales, relationship building and customer retention.
  • Hold weekly one on one meetings with team members, attend client calls and industry functions, and serve as the market knowledge leader on sales strategies.
  • Experience with a multiple product portfolio; additional experience working in display, mobile and video with direct publisher relationships a plus
  • Experience selling programmatic and understanding of programmatic landscape
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

The Account Manager’s role is crucial to ensuring the successful planning and booking of digital advertising campaigns from initial agency RFP to campaign execution. This position requires regular day-to-day communication with advertising agencies, publishers, account executives, analysts and campaign managers to ensure campaigns are strategically planned, executed and managed effectively in order to achieve our clients’ goals and objectives.

This is an integral position within a fast-paced business. It requires self-motivation, enthusiasm, flexibility, resilience, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. This role also requires an analytical and logical thinker with the conviction to meet problems head-on and solve them creatively, accurately and quickly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build relationships with clients with goal of consultative selling. Primary point of contact for clientele.
  • Negotiate pricing and purchase orders with publishers and vendors.
  • Liaison with a team of high volume Account Executives.
  • Build custom sales proposals and presentations to address specific needs of agencies and/or advertisers.
  • Organize creative specifications for media placements.
  • Serve as internal digital consultant for media sellers on high-value opportunities; provide relevant and timely insights into the status of the digital advertising industry.
  • Work directly with internal departments to iron out campaign issues, performance and structure.
  • Oversee campaign planning, optimization strategies, and campaign performance success for a set of top tier client relationships.
  • Work with internal staff to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze campaign delivery and optimize performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Input orders into Gamut’s OMS; ensure profitability and pre-empt fulfillment issues.
  • Ensure clients and internal sales teams are receiving exceptional customer service and support
  • Participate in client campaign kick-off calls to outline campaign requirements and deliverables
  • Assist with various special projects as needed
